Vision Inspection
Detecting part presence and absence, matching color on parking assist sensor – these EOL tests require a knowledge of vison systems such as Cognex or Keyence, expertise in lighting, and the ability to develop accurate testing that will be quick enough to meet the required cycle time.
A fascia with dozens of rivets, fasteners, and screws presents numerous opportunities for mechanical failure. Inspecting these manually is not only time-consuming and costly but also prone to human error. To address this challenge, we offer an automated vision inspection system, available either as part of our End of Line Test (EOLT) or as a stand-alone work cell.
Using high-speed cameras, the system enables 100% inspection of all components while maintaining essential cycle times. Beyond simply detecting the presence or absence of critical parts, the cameras can also verify overbuild, underbuild, orientation, and part color. Our vision inspection systems seamlessly integrate with our full suite of testing solutions.
Communication Protocols
A wire harness carries multiple communication protocols, with each component requiring interaction in its native language—whether it’s CAN, LAN, Ethernet, or A2B. We have the capability to transmit and receive data across all these protocols, enabling us to perform functional tests according to specific requirements and ensuring that all results are properly documented.
Connection Hardware
We provide high-quality connection hardware to seamlessly connect wire harnesses or cameras to our testing systems. Each test block or interface cable is custom-designed to meet the exact specifications of the component manufacturer—something not all testing companies guarantee. Our cables are expertly bundled and shielded to prevent electrical noise from interfering with tests, ensuring smooth operations and eliminating the risk of false failures or delays.
